What is PPRGB?

PPRGB gradually grew from an RGB asset community through learning, testing, and long-term records into a lasting community active in RGB ecosystem research, education, products, and cultural building.

UPDATED

A community around RGB

PPRGB gradually grew from an RGB asset community through learning, testing, and long-term records into a lasting community active in RGB ecosystem research, education, products, and cultural building.

History and pioneers

History wall

PPRGB’s story did not begin with a mature organization: people gathered around PPRGB; some came for the asset or Bitcoin, while others were simply curious. What slowly changed the community was not price, but the question: What should PPRGB ultimately leave behind?

  1. People came together first.

  2. From “a person holding an RGB asset” to “a person trying to understand RGB.”

  3. Test networks and early products gradually appeared.

  4. PPRGB began to enter the real RGB world.

  5. Testing, research, documentation, and outreach.

  6. Ultimately, how can assets on RGB really begin to flow?

  7. Research, testing, education, content, art, and product exploration.

  8. No longer just discussing RGB, but beginning to produce things of our own.

  9. Long-term tracking and research of the RGB ecosystem.

Asset → Community → RGB → Builders

Complete history

PPRGB’s story did not begin with a mature organization.

It began as a group of people gathering around PPRGB. Some came because of the asset, some because of Bitcoin, and some simply out of curiosity. What slowly changed the community was not price, but that everyone began to keep asking one question:

What should PPRGB ultimately leave behind?

The answer gradually pointed toward RGB.

2023 · The story begins

The PPRGB community began to form.

In its early days, it was more like a loose community gathered around PPRGB. Members formed connections, developed shared symbols, and began to build the first layer of community culture.

The significance of this stage was not “how much was done,” but:

People came together first.

2024 · Turning to RGB

The community’s attention began to shift gradually from a single asset to RGB Protocol itself.

People began learning the basics of client-side validation, RGB assets, wallets, Lightning, and state management, and began following projects and infrastructure in the RGB ecosystem.

PPRGB began its first real change of identity:

From “a person holding an RGB asset,” to “a person trying to understand RGB.”

As test networks and early products gradually appeared, the community began participating in tests, recording issues, and sharing user experiences.

PPRGB began to enter the real RGB world.

2025 · From observation to participation

The RGB ecosystem gradually entered a stage closer to practical applications, while wallets, trading, Lightning, stablecoins, bridging, and liquidity began advancing at the same time.

The PPRGB community also gradually moved from simply following information toward:

Testing, research, documentation, and outreach.

The community continued to follow and participate in RGB ecosystem projects including:

LNFi, UTEXO, KaleidoSwap, Bitmask, Iris, as well as developments in RGB Lightning, stablecoins, and related infrastructure.

During this stage, USDT / stablecoins entering RGB became an important long-term narrative for the community.

The reason was simple:

Without stable denominated assets and liquidity infrastructure, it would be difficult for RGB to form sustained economic activity.

PPRGB therefore began paying more and more attention to a question that had rarely been discussed before:

Ultimately, how can assets on RGB really begin to flow?

2026 · From community to building

By 2026, PPRGB’s role had become clearly different.

The community began to form several relatively stable directions:

Research, testing, education, content, art, and product exploration.

It was no longer just discussing RGB, but beginning to produce things of its own.

These included:

  • Long-term tracking and research of the RGB ecosystem
  • Practical testing of wallets, Lightning, RLN, DEXs, stablecoins, and more
  • Chinese RGB learning materials and newcomer education
  • FIELD NOTES frontline testing and research records
  • The PPRGB website and ecosystem data system
  • RGB ecosystem project mapping and information organization
  • Long-tail asset liquidity research
  • Product exploration such as RGB-OTC
  • Community governance and RootForge DAO experiments
  • The PPRGB · RGB TOTEMS 48 art project
  • The PPRGB Pioneers community visual and cultural system

The biggest change at this stage was:

PPRGB was no longer just asking “what is in the RGB ecosystem?” It began asking “what more can we add to RGB?”

The real change in PPRGB

If these years are compressed into one line, it is simple:

2023 gathering → 2024 learning RGB → 2025 entering the ecosystem and taking part in testing → 2026 beginning research, building, and creating

So PPRGB’s history is not a “coin price” history.

It is more like the migration of a group of people:

Asset → Community → RGB → Builders

Starting from an asset, forming a community, entering a protocol, and finally beginning to take part in building.

PPRGB today

Today, PPRGB is better defined as:

A long-term community growing within the RGB Protocol on Bitcoin ecosystem.

It does not belong to any one wallet, DEX, stablecoin, or project.

The community can support different teams, and it can also test, research, and even criticize different products.

The only things that truly remain unchanged are a few:

Bitcoin · RGB · People · Privacy · Freedom · Build

PPRGB is a symbol of origin jointly owned by its members.

But what the community truly hopes to leave behind is not the symbol itself.

It is:

Materials. Code. Products. Experiments. Art. Records. Relationships between people.

And many years from now, someone may still be able to say:

We were there then. We saw it happen. We also took part in building it.
